Fish Sauce – น้ำปลา

Fish Sauce – น้ำปลา (nampla) also know as nước mắm in vietnamese
Instead of common salt, fish sauce is commonly used in South-East Asian cuisine for both in cooking or to add flavor to your dish.
What do you need it for? Almost every dish! For example, we use it for the red curry, tom yum koung (shrimp soup) or the som tam (papaya salad)
Once open, you can keep fish sauce for about 1-2 years in the pantry!
